Counseling Services

Kaizen Educational Group offers counseling services to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of children and adolescents. Kaizen’s initial counseling sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes to allow time for thorough rapport-building, assessment, and goal setting, while ongoing sessions are 50 minutes. Each counseling session is priced at $150 per session.

Our licensed counselors work collaboratively with families to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, social difficulties, behavioral concerns, and coping with stress, using evidence-based strategies tailored to each child's needs. As part of the counseling process, counselors actively engage in goal setting with both the child and their parents, ensuring therapy targets are clear and meaningful. Together, families and counselors develop individualized plans that outline steps for progress and monitor achievements over time. Counselors also track the generalization of skills—making sure that strategies and improvements practiced during therapy sessions are effectively carried over into home, school, and community environments. Counseling sessions are designed to build resilience, self-advocacy, and emotional regulation skills, empowering students to thrive at home, in school, and in the community.
