Our Team
At Kaizen Educational Group, our mission is to support families and children through expert, compassionate care. Founded in 2024 by Jill Michaelson and Chelsae Siebenaler, Kaizen brings together a team of dedicated professionals from various specialties to provide a wide range of services, including psycho-educational evaluations, therapies, independent educational evaluations, tutoring, and advocacy.
Dr. Jill Michaelson
Dr. Jill Michaelson brings over 26 years of experience in education to her role as co-founder of Kaizen Educational Group. Her career has spanned both district administrator and educator, giving her a comprehensive understanding of educational systems. Jill holds a Doctorate degree focused on the vital connection between Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and parent collaboration, underscoring her commitment to family-centered support. She also possesses a Master's degree in Leadership and Supervision, along with undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education.
Driven by a passion to empower families and advocate for students, Jill leverages her expertise in special education, K-12 programming, and educational leadership to ensure that children receive the personalized services necessary for their success.
Dr. Jennifer Willis-McClain, OTD, OTR/L
Jennifer Willis-McClain is an Occupational Therapist with over 7 years of experience specializing in pediatrics. She earned her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from The University of Toledo in 2018. Her doctoral research focused on the power of animal-assisted therapy for individuals with autism, and she takes great joy in volunteering with The Ability Center's Agility Angels program. Before becoming an Occupational Therapist, Jennifer was an art teacher, receiving her bachelor's degree in art & design from Alma College and a master’s degree in art education from The Ohio State University. Her experience as an art teacher informs her OT practice, and she loves using creative arts to develop foundational skills in her pediatric clients. In her free time, she loves tending to her many houseplants, cycling with her husband, walking her sweet black lab, and spending time with her three amazing sons.
Colleen Vetter-Dyer, M.S., CCC-SLP
Colleen is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 11 years of experience supporting children and families. She earned her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Bowling Green State University in 2014 and has since worked in a variety of educational and clinical settings.
Passionate about communication and early intervention, Colleen is dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential through individualized, evidence-based therapy. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep understanding of language development. Her professional interests include supporting students with speech sound disorders and language delays, promoting literacy development, and implementing neurodiversity-affirming practices. Colleen is passionate about creating learning environments that are inclusive and accepting of all learners. She believes in meeting each child where they are, honoring their unique communication style, and building skills through connection and trust.
Stacy Pruitt, M.A., CCC-SLP
Stacy Pruitt is a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed since 2009. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toledo.
Over the years, she has worked with children from preschool through high school across both private practice and school-based settings. This broad experience has allowed her to support a wide range of communication needs, including Articulation, Expressive and Receptive Language, Social Communication, and AAC. She’s passionate about helping children find their voice, build confidence, and thrive in their daily lives through effective communication.
Chelsae Siebenaler, Ed.S.
As a co-founder of Kaizen Educational Group, Chelsae brings 14 years of experience as a school psychologist in both public and private settings. She is independently licensed and holds a Master's in Education and an Education Specialist degree, reflecting her deep commitment to child development and learning. Chelsae has prioritized providing high-quality care to students from preschool through twelfth grade, their families, and school staff. Her expertise in comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations helps identify learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and executive functioning challenges.
Chelsae’s approach is grounded in thorough assessment, a strengths-based perspective, and empirically sound interventions. Passionate about inclusive learning environments, Chelsae is dedicated to empowering every child to reach their full potential.
Julie Pommeranz, MOTR/L
Karen Dynda, M.A., CCC-SLP
Karen is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 25 years of experience working with children and adolescents in educational and outpatient settings. She is dedicated to helping young individuals overcome communication challenges that impact their academic success and daily lives. Karen earned her Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ohio University.
With a compassionate, evidence-based approach, Karen integrates therapy into meaningful, functional contexts—whether at school, at home, or in the community. She is deeply committed to family-centered care and equips parents with practical strategies to support their child’s learning and communication needs. Karen addresses a wide range of areas, including speech sound disorders, language comprehension, literacy development, attention, and problem-solving skills. She works closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent progress across all environments. Her goal is to help each student build the confidence and skills needed to thrive—not just in the classroom, but in every area of life.
